After you identify problems or areas of need, clarify specifically how you can solve that problem or meet those needs.
The results of surveys and interviews enlighten your understanding of people and their situations. With such precise knowledge we help:
churches and mission groups design strategies to share the love and Word of God most effectively,
schools identify strategies to
address non-didactic issues in students' lives, and
community agencies build options
to better serve their client community.
Goal- and Strategy-Setting Workshop
In addition to personalized services, Community Empowerment Research provides a 8- to 12-hour workshop to help you identify your mission activities, the impacts
you want to make on members, clients, staff, or community, and to set goals and strategies to meet your most important needs.
Identify what you are really doing, compared to what your
aspirations are.
Assess how well you are doing what you want to do.
Identify the three most important places to make changes.
Set goals and describe how you will assess your success
at meeting those goals.
The goals and strategies workshop works best if spread over two or three days. This can be a Friday evening and all-day Saturday; Friday evening, most of
Saturday, and a couple hours on Sunday; or two hours at a time over three or four weeks.
We will work with your schedule to find the best times for you. We only ask that the workshop include as many staff and clients as possible and that
all levels of the organization be involved.
